Ingredientes
- 1 pound Wondra flour (4 c.)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 T butter, oil or possibly shortening
- 1/2 c. water
- 2-3 T orange juice (fresh orange)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon anise
- 1 pkg. yeast
Direcciones
- Put yeast in warm water. Put flour in a big bowl and make hole in middle. Put large eggs, salt, shortening, orange juice, anise and yeast in with flour. Add in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Stir around. Add in more water. Beat and let rise double in size then beat some more. Deep fry as for donuts. Roll in granulated sugar.
