- Heat the jaggery over a low heat and add in the ghee.
- Take off the heat and add in the puffed rice.
- Cold down sufficient to handle and shape the mix into balls about the size of a golf ball.
- Cold completely and store.
- These rice balls will keep for up to a fortnight or possibly longer if they are stored in an airtight container.
- A crispy sweet which must be eaten with your fingers.
