  • 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tbsp. melted butter

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs, fold in lowfat milk and melted butter. Mix flour, salt, baking pwdr and sugar. Stir into egg mix. Mix till smooth. Heat fat in fryer to 360 degrees.
  2. Dip vegetables, fish, and shrimp into tempura batter and place in strainer in fry basket to drain off excess batter. Place in fry basket, filling only 1/3 full. Stir occasionally to keep items from sticking together. Fry for 3-4 min till golden.
  3. CAUTION: Filling the basket more than 1/3 full may cause grease to bubbly up and overflow when tempura is placed inside.
