Receta Texas Hot Sauce

Ingredientes
- 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 lb grnd pork
- 1/2 lb grnd beef
- 2 x warm dogs, finely diced
- 1 med onion, minced
- 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp browning sauce e.g. Gravy Master(tm)
- 1 tsp browning sauce e.g. Kitchen Bouquet(tm)
- 1 tsp grnd black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 x (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 8 c. water
- 3 tsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp. chili pwdr
- 4 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1 tsp dry parsley
- 1Â 1/2 c. dry breadcrumbs
Direcciones
- 1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in onion and garlic and cook till soft.
- 2. Stir in beef and pork and cook, stirring frequently till brown.
- 3. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in warm dogs. Saute/fry for 3 to 4 min. Drain off any excess fat.
- 4. Stir in the browning and seasoning sauce, browning sauce, pepper, salt, tomato paste and water. Bring mix to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 1 hour, uncovered. Stir occasionally.
- 5. Stir in the paprika, chili pwdr, cinnamon and parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary. Simmer for 10 min. Remove from heat and let cold.
- 6. Using a hand held mixer blend the bread crumbs into the sauce. Serve.
