Receta 'The Big Meatball' Meatloaf

Ingredientes
- 1 lb lean grnd chuck
- 1/2 lb warm or possibly sweet Italian sausage meat
- 1 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. minced flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbsp. minced fresh basil or possibly 2 tsp. dry
- 1 Tbsp. minced fresh oregano or possibly 1 tsp. dry
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly grnd pepper
- 3 x Large eggs
- 4 c. homemade or possibly bottled marinara sauce

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, use your hands to gently but thoroughly combine the beef, sausage, bread crumbs, parsley, cheese, basil, oregano, salt, pepper and Large eggs.
- Place meat in center of a 13x9-inch baking dish. Use your hands to shape into a smooth rounded dome 3 to 4 inches high. Bake 35 min. Spoon or possibly drain off any fat in the dish. Pour the marinara sauce over the loaf and bake 20 min more till a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the loaf registers 155 degrees. Let stand in pan for 10 min.
- Serve cut in slices with about 2/3 c. sauce per serving, with tubular pasta or possibly mashed potatoes.
