Receta Turnip Casserole

Ingredientes
- 3 c. mashed cooked turnips (white or possibly yellow)
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp. butter, melted
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine turnips, butter, sugar, salt, pepper, 3/4 c. of the bread crumbs and the Large eggs. Mix well. Turn into a buttered 1 qt casserole and top with remaining bread crumbs, mixed with the melted butter. Bake till top is browned, about 35 min.
