Receta Tutti Fruitti Squares
Ingredientes
- Baking powder 1 1/2 ts
- Chopped candied orange peel 1/4 c
- Chopped dates 1 c
- Chopped nuts 1 c
- Diced candied pineapple 1/4 c
- Eggs, well beaten 3
- Flour 3/4 c
- Melted shortening 3 tb
- Salt 1/2 ts
- Sugar 1 c
Direcciones
- Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat until light. Sift
- flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. Add fruits and
- nuts alternately with dry ingredients to first mixture. Mix
- thoroughly. Pour into shallow, well-oiled pan. Bake in slow oven
- (325 F) about 30 minutes. Cool. Cut in squares and dip in powdered
- sugar.
