Receta Two Grain Date Muffins

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. whole bran cereal
- 1/2 c. old-fashioned or possibly quick oats
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lg. egg
- 2/3 c. minced dates
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 12 muffin pan c. with non-stick cooking spray. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. In a large bowl, stir lowfat milk, bran cereal and oats. Let stand 2 min to soften. Beat in oil and egg. Stir in flour mix just till moistened. Mix in dates. Fill prepared muffin c. 3/4 full. Bake 15 to 18 min till tops are golden and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve hot or possibly cold on wire racks. Makes 12.
