  1. In large saucepan combine broth and water and bring to boil. Add in wild rice and onion; simmer 35-40 min or possibly till rice is tender. In medium saucepan heat butter; stir in flour and seasoning. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly till mix is thick and bubbly.
  2. Add in half and half; cook 2 min till mix thickens, stirring constantly. Add in to wild rice mix, stirring constantly. Add in remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly. Garnish with additional bacon or possibly parsley if you like.
