- A great friend passed this one on to me. WELL worth a visit next time you’re in the area. Located perfectly in Capitol Hill right in-between Café Vita and Neumos, I consider this to be a perfect starter for the evening. Fun share portions of food, more fun big portions of drinks, funky music, eclectic local art work and a service team that will make you feel like your at your friends dinner party in their home. Zoe owners took another chance with this one, and if you ask me… we all owe them a big thank you.
- Spur Gastropub (Seattle, WA)
- Old space, young chef, off the wall drinks. Only open now for a few months, the newest addition to Belltowns restaurant scene ‘Spur Gastropub’ has decient opening food menu. Fresh out of culinary school, the chef team of Brian McCracken and Dana Tough have created a fun and inviting menu with foie gras sliders, generous cheese plates, ½ pint servings of fresh ice cream made from farmers market fresh fruit and many more farm-to-table dishes. I gotta say though, I the one true element that is at perfection is their bar menu. Fresh Fresh Fresh is the name of the game while their self proclaimed mixologist adds foams, flowers and other fun garnishes such as a healthy wedge of a lemon cucumber to absolutely fantastic drinks…..WELL worth a modest $12 price point average for a drink.
