Receta Almond Honey Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Shortening
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Honey
- 3 lrg Large eggs well beaten
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. Almonds, blanched Finely minced
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract Grated rind of 1 lemon
Direcciones
- Cream shortening and sugar. Add in honey, Large eggs, and lemon rind. Mix thoroughly. Sift flour, measure, and sift three times with baking pwdr and salt. Add in minced nuts and flavoring. Mix thoroughly. Pour into shallow, well-oiled pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 12-15 min.
- Remove from oven. Cold.Turn onto board well dusted with powdered sugar. Cut in oblong bars. Roll in powdered sugar. 16 servings.
