Receta Almost Like Hardees Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 T hot water
- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 2 T white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Direcciones
- Dissolve yeast in extremely warm water. Add in sugar and set aside. Mix flour, baking soda, cut in shortening. Mix buttermilk and yeast and water mix. Add in to flour mix. Stir till moistened. Chill overnight.Sprinkle with flour. Knead 4-5 times and roll 1/2 thick. Brush cookie sheet with melted butter. Cut with biscuit cutter and place on pan. Brush with melted butter. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 15-20 min. Brush again with melted butter.
