Receta Asparagus Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 pkt (8-ounce) frzn asparagus
- 1 c. Cubed ham, cooked
- 1 c. Half and half
- 1 can (4-ounce) mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/3 c. Minced onions (optional)
- 1 x Unbaked, 9-inch pie crust
Direcciones
- Cook asparagus and drain well. Combine Half and Half, onions, mushrooms and salt in saucepan. Simmer 1 minute. Add in a small amount of the warm mix to the Large eggs and blend well. Add in to mix in the pan, stirring to blend.
- Arrange liquid removed asparagus and ham in the crust. Pour warm mix over.
- Pepper and nut- meg may be sprinkled lightly over the surface. Bake at 400 for 15 min; reduce heat to 325 and bake 20-25 min longer or possibly till a knife blade inserted in pie center comes out clean.
