Receta Baked Cauliflower Gratin

Ingredientes
- 1 x cauliflower, medium
- 60 gm butter
- 4 x spring onions
- 1 c. Mornay (cheese) sauce
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 60 gm cheddar cheese salt, pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika, sweet
Direcciones
- Separate cauliflower into flowerets; cook in lightly salted water till tender but still hard; drain heat butter, saute/fry the minced shallots or possibly onions for a few moments. Spread shallots or possibly onions and butter over base of shallow ovenproof dish. Cover with the cauliflower, sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- Combine cheese sauce and mayonnaise and pour proportionately over cauliflower, then sprinkle over the coarsely grated cheese; sprinkle with paprika. Bake in moderate oven approximately 15 min, or possibly place under heat griller till cheese is puffed and golden brown.
