Receta Baked Spinach Casserole

Ingredientes
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. light cream
- 3 Tbsp. onion, grated
- 2 pkt frzn spinach, thawed and liquid removed
- 1 lb mushrooms, minced
- 3 Tbsp. gruyere or possibly swiss cheese, grated
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Saute/fry' onions and mushrooms in butter for 5 min. Blend in flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Gradually add in cream, stirring to boiling point. Taste for seasoning.
- In buttered casserole, spread half the spinach; cover with half of the mushroom sauce, then repeat. Sprinkle with the grated cheese. Set in pan of warm water.
- Bake for 40 min.
