Receta Banana Almond Muffins
My husband recently bought some bananas for milk shake and there was 2 remaining and we felt like having some muffins. I went through the net and finally came up with my own version which was good. Do give it a try as it is really easy to make using whatever ingredients you have in the fridge!
Ingredientes
- 2 ripe bananas - mash it
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/3 cup or 2 big tbsp melted butter (I used Meadow Lea)
- 1 cup flour (sift it to avoid lumps)
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup chopped almonds
Direcciones
- Mash the bananas and then add the beaten egg, butter and sugar. Give it a mix.
- In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients except for the almonds and pour this into the banana mixture and bind it well.
- Then add in the almonds and give it a stir.
- Pour the mixture into the muffin tray and bake in a pre-heated oven of 190 - 200 degrees for 30 minutes or until the toothpick comes clean.
