This was my mom's Banana Nut Bread. She taught it to me and I now know it by heart.

  1. Cream butter and sugar until smooth, add eggs and beat well.
  2. Combine flour, salt and soda. Add to creamed mixture along with bananas, vanilla and pecans.
  3. Mix well then pour into two 9" x 5 x 3 inch pans. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes
