Receta Barbecue Sauce For Chicken And Turkey

Ingredientes
- 2 x garlic cloves chopped
- 2 x shallots chopped
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 x scallion minced
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp crushed dry red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. roasted sesame oil or possibly peanut oil
Direcciones
- Combine all ingredients except sesame or possibly peanut oil in a small saucepan, bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 min. Let sit for 10 min. Strain into a small bowl. Add in sesame or possibly peanut oil.
- This recipe yields about 1/2 c..
- Comments: This makes a good sauce for chicken, turkey or possibly game hens. Brush over grilled or possibly roasted poultry just before serving. Roasted (or possibly toasted) sesame oil has a lot of flavor. (Don't use regular, unroasted sesame oil.) It can be found at Asian markets or possibly at health food stores.
