Receta Basil Buttermilk Dressing

Ingredientes
- 1 c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves
- 3/8 c. buttermilk
- 3/8 c. mayonnaise
- 1 x green onion coarsely minced
- 3/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper

- Tested: June 2001. Used 1/4 the amount of dry leaves, increased the buttermilk by 50% and reduced the mayonnaise by an equivalent amount. The dressing is quite thick. Try replacing the mayonnaise completely with buttermilk. Good dressing. Will definitely try again. Would certainly will be much better with fresh basil.
- Blend all ingredients together in a blender or possibly food processor till smooth. Put in a container and store in the refrigerator. Enjoy on tomatoes or possibly tossed green salads.
