Receta Batter Crisp Onion Rings

Ingredientes
- 5 or possibly 6 lg. onions, peeled, cut into 1/4 inch slices & separated into rings
- 1 c. flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 T lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 T melted shortening
- Fat for frying onion rings
Direcciones
- Cut onions. Mix together all ingredients for batter. Dip onion into batter and fry in hot fat. Very crispy and good!
