Receta Belgian Waffles No Yeast
Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 cups Flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3 x Large eggs, separated
- 1 cup Lowfat milk
- 1 cup Heavy cream, ( I use half and half )
- 1 Tbsp. Plus 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind, (optional)
- 3 Tbsp. Melted butter
Direcciones
- Combine dry ingred. in a separate bowl.
- In a small bowl, beat egg yolks slightly.
- Stir in lowfat milk and cream.
- Blend in flour mix till smooth. Stir in lemon rind and melted butter.
- Beat egg whites in bowl till stiff but not to dry peaks. Fold gently into batter.
- Bake in waffle iron till golden.
- Serve immediately or possibly place on cooling racks and freeze in ziploc bags for future enjoyment
