Receta Big Softies (Cookies)

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked (quick-cooking or possibly old-fashioned oatmeal)
Direcciones
- Pour boiling water over raisins. Let stand 10 min. Drain raisins, reserving 1/4 c. liquid.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into a bowl.
- Add in shortening, sugar, Large eggs and reserved liquid. Beat till smooth, about 2 min. Stir in raisins and oatmeal. Refrigeratedough at least 1 hour or possibly more.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Push by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake about 15 min.
- Cold on a rack.
