  • 2 c. lowfat milk, scalded
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. stale bread, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • Shredded coconut or possibly raisins (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Combine lowfat milk, butter and bread cubes in greased baking dish. Add in sugar, salt and flavorings to Large eggs and beat slightly - fold into bread-lowfat milk mix and mix in coconut or possibly raisins, if you like. Place in pan of warm water and bake in 350 degree oven for 45-50 min or possibly till hard. Serves 6.
