Receta Caribou Steaks With Whisky Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. Butter, divided
- 1/4 c. Finely minced shallots
- 5 x Cranberries,crushed
- 1/4 c. Scotch whiskey
- 3/4 c. Orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Red currant jelly
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 4 x Caribou steaks
Direcciones
- Combine 1 tbsp. butter, shallots and berries in a sauce pan. Cook over med. heatuntil shallots soften. Add in Scotch whiskey and heat till just boiling.
- Stir inorange juice, lemon juice, jelly and mustard. Heat till boiling. Combine cornstarch with water. Stir into sauce; cook till thickened and set aside.
- In a frying pan heat the remaining 1 tbsp. butter and saute/fry the steaks.
- Don't overcook. Serve immediately with sauce.
