  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil Coarse salt to taste
  • 4 Tbsp. Coarsely-grnd black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. Dry thyme
  • 4 Tbsp. Minced garlic
  • 4 x Rib-steaks on the bone - (10 to 12 ounce ea)

Direcciones

  1. Combine the oil, salt, pepper, dry thyme and garlic in a small bowl. Using this dry rub to season the beef, brush or possibly rub the steaks with this seasoning mix and let marinate at room temperature for 20 min.
  2. Over a warm barbecue grill, or possibly under an oven broiler which has been preheated for at least 20 min, cook the steaks on both sides to the desired doneness. Generally, a steak of this size, cooked over a barbecue grill, will be medium-rare within about 8 to 10 min (4 min on each side) with a blackened exterior and a hot pink interior. Check for doneness by pressing gently with a cautious finger.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
