Ingredientes
- 1 (4 ounce.) can mushroom pcs, liquid removed and reserve liquid
- 1 sm. green pepper (1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. cut up cooked chicken or possibly turkey
- 1 (4 ounce.) jar whole pimentos, minced
- Toast
- Warm mashed potatoes; optional
- Waffles, cooked rice, or possibly noodles; optional
Direcciones
- Cook and stir mushrooms and green pepper in butter over medium heat 5 min. Remove from heat. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly till mix is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in bouillon, lowfat milk, water, and reserved mushroom liquid. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in chicken and pimento, heat through. Serve over toast or possibly above options. 6 servings.
