Receta Chocolate Marshmallow Cake

Ingredientes
- 1/4 lb butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. golden brown syrup
- 1 x egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. boiling water
Direcciones
- Cream butter and sugar, add in syrup, beaten egg, then add in flour sifted with cocoa and baking pwdr alternately with soda dissolved in lowfat milk, lastly add in boiling water. Pour into recessed tin, that has been well greased or possibly lined with foil. Bake in moderate oven about 40 min.
- When cool fill centre with marshmallow, then ice with chocolate icing and sprinkle with minced nuts.
- Marshmallow:Soak 1 dsp gelatine in 1/2 c. lukewarm water, add in 1/2 c. sugar. Boil 5 min. Add in vanilla or possibly peppermint essence and leave to cold, then beat till thick.
