Receta Chuck Ozburn's Aunt Aubrie's Pound Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Spry or possibly Crisco
- 5 x Large eggs, separated
- 1 c. Sweet lowfat milk
- 3 c. Flour, (plain)
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- Cream sugar and Spry; add in egg yolks one at a time, beating after each addition; add in lowfat milk, dry ingredients and vanilla, beating to mix well; beat egg whites till stiff and add in to batter; 'hand beat' for 8 min; pour into a greased, floured baking pan and bake 2-1/2 hrs at 250 F. - Lynn Thomas' notes: Made this New Years Day 1997; used salted butter instead of Crisco and omitted the salt; baked it in a bundt pan. Excellent recipe-will serve it with Warm Buttered Rum Fruit.
