Receta Chuck Wagon Beef Bake

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. celery, minced
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (16 ounce) can Ranch Style beans, liquid removed
- 1 (16 ounce) can pork & beans
- 1 T chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon MSG (optional)
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 can buttermilk biscuits
- 2 T lowfat milk
- 10 (1/2 inch) cubed Cheddar or possibly American cheese
- 2 c. Dorito corn chips, crushed
Direcciones
- In large skillet, lightly brown beef. Add in vegetables and simmer till tender. Drain off excess fat. Add in tomato paste, water, chili pwdr, salt, paprika, MSG and beans. Simmer while preparing topping.
- Separate biscuits and place a cheese cube in the center of each. Mix in half and seal edges by pressing firmly. Dip biscuits in lowfat milk and coat with crushed chips. Transfer hot meat mix into casserole dish. Place biscuits around edge of casserole and top with remaining corn chips. Bake 15 to 20 min in preheated oven at 425 degrees. Serves 6 to 8.
