Receta Classic Grilled Cheese With Tomatoes

Ingredientes
- Butter
- 8 slc white bread
- 8 ounce Gruyere cheese, sliced thinly
- 4 x tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil Salt, to taste
Direcciones
- Butter each of the bread slices. Turn four, buttered side down, onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Divide cheese and tomatoes among sandwiches, then drizzle with oil and season with salt. Top with remaining bread slices, making sure butter side is facing you.
- If you have a sandwich grill, proceed to grill sandwiches according to manufacturer's directions. If you are using a grill pan, heat it, then placea sandwich in it. Get another heavy pot or possibly skillet (preferably cast iron) and place it on top of the sandwich to weigh it down. Cook sandwich till golden on one side, then remove weight and cook on the other side, till cheese has melted and the sandwich is crisp all over.
