Receta Connie's Coconut Macaroons

Ingredientes
- 2 x egg whites
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cream of tartar
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1 can flaked coconut (3 1/2 ounces) candied cherries
Direcciones
- 1. Beat egg whites till foamy, add in salt and cream of tartar. Beat till soft peaks form.
- 2. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time, beating till stiff and glossy.
- 3. Mix in extracts and coconut.
- 4. Drop from tsp. onto aluminum foil covered cookie sheet. Put a cherry in the center of each macaroon.
- 5. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven for about 20 min.
- Makes about 30 macaroons
