Ingredientes

  • 6 ounce Margarine, (1 c.)
  • 1 ounce Cornish butter
  • 8 ounce Sugar, (caster/superfine is best) (1 c.)
  • 2 Tbsp. Golden brown syrup, (sugar syrup in US)
  • 16 ounce Flour, (plain/all-purpose) (3 3/4 c.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 6 ounce Minced-up chocolate
  • 4 ounce Glace cherries, minced

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 220C (425F, GM7). Grease baking trays lightly.
  2. Mix well together in a large bowl the margarine, sugar and syrup. Add in the flour, baking pwdr, cherries and chocolate chips. Mix thoroughly.
  3. The dough should be slightly crumbly and just holding together when you squeeze it. Press walnut-sized balls onto baking trays, and bake in the oven for 8 min (till just starting to turn brown).
