Receta Crab In Beer Broth (Cua Hap Bia)

Ingredientes
- 1 lrg onion sliced
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 sm red chilies sliced
- 6 ounce beer
- 2 med tomatoes diced
- 1 Tbsp. fried garlic or possibly shallots
- 1 c. watercress
- 6 whl large crabs rinsed and cleaned Salt to taste Freshly-grnd white pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 3 x garlic cloves finely sliced
Direcciones
- Marinate the crab with salt, pepper, sesame oil, oyster sauce and a clove of garlic for 1 hour.
- Saute/fry remaining garlic and onion in oil for 2 to 3 min, or possibly till brown. Add in crab and chiles, and continue frying. After a few min, add in beer and cover. Reduce heat, and cook for 10 min. Add in tomatoes. Cover again. Cook for 5 min.
- Serve in bowls, adding a little of the broth. Garnish with fried garlic and watercress.
- Comments: Almost any variety of hard-shell crab can be used for this recipe.
