Receta Cranberry Waffles And Orange Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Buttermilk biscuit mix
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 3 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 Tbsp. Shortening, melted
- 1 c. Cranberries, raw, grnd
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 c. Water, boiling
- 1 Tbsp. Butter (or possibly marg.)
- 1 Tbsp. Orange rind, grated
- 1/2 c. Orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
Direcciones
- Combine biscuit mix and sugar; stir in Large eggs and lowfat milk. Add in melted shortening, mixing well; mix in cranberries. Bake in a preheated waffle baker, and serve with Orange sauce.
- Orange Sauce: Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt; add in to boiling water.
- Cook 3 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in butter orange rind, orange juice, and lemon juice.
- Yield: about 2 c..
