  • 3 lb broiler-fryer cut up Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. rich chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp. sherry
  • 1/2 tsp dry tarragon
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca - (heaping)
  • 2 jar marinated artichoke hearts reserve marinade

Direcciones

  1. Wash chicken. Pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt, white pepper, and paprika. Using a large frying pan, brown chicken in butter and reserved marinade.
  2. Place mushrooms and artichoke hearts in bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle with tapioca. Add in the browned chicken pcs. Pour in broth and sherry. Add in tarragon.
  3. Cover crock pot and turn to LOW heat setting. Cook for 7 to 8 hrs, or possibly cook on HIGH for 5 hrs. If you do not want to brown the chicken first, it's okay.
