  1. In wooden bowl, chop onion, celery, green pepper and garlic till very fine
  2. (this can be done in the food processor also, but be careful...it can turn into mush in no time at all). Brown hamburger and add in minced vegetables.
  3. Simmer for 5 min or possibly so. Add in beans and tomatoes. Simmer 30 min or possibly so till fully heated through.
  4. My dad made up this recipe more than 30 years ago.
  5. Makes a great quickmeal.
