Receta Davis' Salisbury Steak
This is a patchwork of Salisbury Steak recipes that work with my taste buds...hope you enjoy!!! While my ingredients might sound far-fetched---it is the best Salisbury Steak I have ever eaten.
Ingredientes
- Steak Mixture
- 2 # Ground beef (85/15)
- 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 T Montreal Steak seasoning
- 2 T chopped fresh Parsley
- 2 eggs
- 2 T minced onion
- 1 T minced garlic
- 2 T Worchestire sauce
- 2 T Heinz 57 Sauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- Italian Bread Crumbs (enough to tighten mixture)
- Olive Oil
- Gravy Mixture
- 1 1/2 # sliced mushrrooms
- 1 can Cream of Potato soup (blended smooth)
- You can substitute with Cream of Mushroom, Celery or Onion Soup
- 1 can French Onion Soup
- 1/2 package dry onion soup
- 16 oz. beef broth
- 1 packet Onion Gravy Mix
- 1 Packet Brown Gravy Mix
Direcciones
- To make steak patties, mix first 12 ingredients and patty out into 8 equal serving. Brown patties in olive oil and set aside.
- To make gravy, saute mushrooms in drippings left over from browning meat patties. Then add remaining gravy ingredients and bring to a simmer. Place patties and gravy mixture in a baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
