  3. Saute onion in butter. Add in mushrooms. Season. Remove from heat and add in egg yolks and stir well. Cool and fill pierogi. Serve with melted butter.
  4. Cook sauerkraut for 10 min. Drain and chop fine. Fry onion and minced mushrooms in butter, add in kraut and fry till flavors are blended. Cool and fill circles.
  5. Soak prunes in water overnight. Cook with sugar and lemon juice. When cool, remove stones and fill pierogi. Serve with bread crumbs, browned in melted butter or possibly with whipped cream.
  6. Mix the fruit with 2 tbsp bread crumbs. Spoon and fill each circle. Fold, seal the edges and cook. Serve with melted butter and sweetened lowfat sour cream.
