Receta Firni (Rice Blancmange)

Ingredientes
- 3 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 Tbsp. Grnd rice
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cardamom
- 1 Tbsp. Rose water or possibly 2-3 drops rose Essence
- 2 Tbsp. Blanched pistachios or possibly Almonds
Direcciones
- Take some of the cool lowfat milk and mix with the grnd rice to a smooth cream.
- Bring the rest of the lowfat milk to the boil with sugar, stirring with a wooden spoon. Remove from heat and stir in creamed grnd rice, then return pan to heat and stir constantly till mix bolis and thickens. Boil, stirring for 3 min. Sprinkle over the cardamom, rose water or possibly essence and half the pistachios, minced. Stir well. Pour into individual dessert dishes.
- Decorate tops with remaining pistachios or possibly almonds, slivered. Serve hot or possibly chilled.
