Spices, Tomato, Fresh baked bread and cheese all rolled up to make Great snacks or Sandwiches.
I send them as a sandwich with the bf to work.
Cutting them open and adding some pepperoni. He loves them
You can add your Favorite topping right in too.
If you want to add peppers or ham, do a small dice of it and spread it on as the same time as the Cheese.!

  • 1½ tsp dried yeast
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1½ cup lukewarm water
  • 3½ cups white flour
  • 1/2 cup ground flax
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 3 cups shredded cheese (mozza or choice)
  • 3 cloves garlic - fine chopped

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle yeast and sugar into warm water and mix.
  2. Allow to sit for 10 minutes until mixture begins to bubble.
  3. Combine flour and salt in large bowl, make a well in the centre, pour in yeast mixture and beaten egg and gradually work in the flour to make a dough.
  4. Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead thoroughly until smooth and elastic - at least 5 minutes.
  5. Use only enough flour to prevent the dough from sticking to the surface.
  6. Place in lightly oiled bowl, turn dough to coat with oil and cover with a clean cloth.
  7. Allow to rise for 45 minutes, or until doubled in volume.
  8. Preheat oven to 450
  9. divide the dough in high and spray a cookie sheet with cookie spray
  10. Take one piece of the dough and roll into a nice big square.
  11. 3/4 cup of tomato sauce onto it, leave a space around the edges
  12. sprinkle with some garlic and put a light layer of cheese
  13. Roll up. Cut like a loaf of bread. 1.5 Inches. Put on pan and press down slightly.
  14. Repeat with other peice of dough.
  15. After they are all on the pan. Cover with a cloth and let sit another 10 Minutes
  16. when the 10 minutes is up, take the remaining sauce and cheese and put a bit on each bun.
  17. Put into the oven and bake 15 minutes.
  18. Enjoy
