Receta Fried Pasta

Ingredientes
- 1 lb spiral or possibly twist pasta
- 2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 2 tsp dry oregano
- 1 tsp grnd cumin
- 1/2 tsp grnd red pepper
- 1 tsp salt Vegetable oil for frying
Direcciones
- In a soup pot, cook the pasta according to the package directions for 4 to 5 min, or possibly till tender but not soft; drain, rinse, and drain again, removing as much water as possible.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the garlic pwdr, oregano, cumin, grnd red pepper, and salt; mix well and set aside.
- In a soup pot, heat 1 inch of oil over high heat till warm but not smoking. Carefully add in the liquid removed pasta to the warm oil in batches. Cook the pasta for 12 to 15 min, or possibly till crisp and golden brown, stirring occasionally. Drain on a paper towel-lined platter.
- After all the pasta has been fried, toss with the seasoning mix and serve, or possibly store in a resealable plastic storage bag till ready to serve.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
