  • 1 1/2 lbs extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 10 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 1 14.5-oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 2 Tbsp capers, drained and minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until just smoking. Add shrmp and cook until lightly browned, about 1 minute per side. Transfer to plate.
  2. Add remaining oil, garlic, and 1/2 tsp pepper to empty skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in wine and tomatoes and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Off heat, whisk in basil, butter, capers, and lemon juice. Add shrimp and any accumulated juices to skilley. Cover and let sit until shrimp are heated through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, and serve.
