Receta Grandma's Date Nut Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 pound pitted dates
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. nut meats
Direcciones
- Pour boiling water over dates and set aside. Cream together shortening, sugar and Large eggs. Combine flour, soda and baking pwdr. Add in flour mix to creamed ingredients. Stir in pitted date mix. Add in nut meats. Pour into 2 bread pans and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
