Receta Grandmother's Date Souffle

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 4 lg. Large eggs, separated
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. fresh pitted dates, minced
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
Direcciones
- All ingredients should be at room temperature. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar together till light and fluffy. Gradually stir in lowfat milk. Beat egg whites together with salt till stiff but not dry. Fold into the lowfat milk mix. Mix in the dates and lemon rind. Pour into greased 1 1/2 qt souffle dish and bake 1 hour. Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
