Receta Grilled Bulgur Kefta With Herbs And Chilies

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Fine-grained bulgur
- 1 lb Medium-fat grnd lamb
- 1 c. Chopped onions
- 1 x Jalapeno seeded and chopped
- 1 sm Sweet red pepper seeded and chopped
- 2 tsp Crushed garlic
- 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp Freshly grnd cumin
- 1/2 c. Minced flat-leaf parsley
- 1/2 c. Minced fresh mint leaves Salt to taste Black pepper, freshly grnd to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
Direcciones
- Wash bulgur, put it in a bowl, sprinkle generously with sufficient water to moisten, and let stand 30 min. Add in all the remaining ingredients, season with salt and pepper, and knead to blend. Mix to a paste in food processor. Shape egg-size pcs in inch-thick oval patties (kefta). Grill on both sides till golden brown and crisp. Or possibly you can cook them in a cast iron skillet heated very warm and coated lightly with oil.
