Receta Grilled Cheddar, Mustard And Chive Sandwiches

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. regular or possibly light mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives or possibly green onions
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 8 slc country-style white bread, 5" x 4" x 1/2"
- 8 ounce sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 4 Tbsp. butter - (1/2 stick)
Direcciones
- Mix mayonnaise, chives and Dijon mustard in small bowl. Season with generous amount of pepper. Spread 1 side of each bread slice with mayonnaise mix. Divide cheddar cheese among 4 bread slices, then top with remaining bread, mayonnaise-side down.
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Heat 2 Tbsp. butter in griddle or possibly heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add in 2 sandwiches; turn to coat with butter. Cook till golden brown on each side and cheese melts, about 5 min per side. Transfer to baking sheet. Keep hot in oven. Repeat with remaining 2 Tbsp. butter and remaining sandwiches.
