Receta Harvard Beet Spice Cake

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 1/4 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 jar (16 ounce) Aunt Nellie's Sweet Sour Harvard Beets
- 2 1/4 c. Sifted flour (all purpose)
- 1 1/2 tsp Allspice
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Cloves
- 4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1 c. Coarsely minced walnuts, dusted with flour Confectioner's sugar
Direcciones
- Beat butter with sugar till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs; beat well. Blend beets in blender or possibly food processor till smooth. Add in sifted dry ingredients alternately with beets to butter mix, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in walnuts. Turn batter into greased and floured 9-c. bundt pan.
- Bake at 350 F for 55-60 min, or possibly till cake tests done. Cold on rack for 30 min before removing from pan. Sift confectioner's sugar over top of cooled cake.
