Receta Harvest Apple Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 (2 crust) pie recipe
- 6-8 med. apples
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 c. maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. melted butter
Direcciones
- Peel and core apples, dice or possibly slice and arrange in crust. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, salt and sugar. Mix together and sprinkle over top of apples. Heat butter, add in maple syrup and pour over apples in pie crust. Put top pastry one, seal edges and flute. Bake 15 min at 425 degrees. Reduce heat to 400 degrees and continue baking another 30 min.
- Remove from oven and spread with topping. Return to oven for 10 min or possibly till bubbly. Place large pan under pie pan to catch any topping which may run off.
