Receta Hawaiian Sponge Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
- 2 x Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut.
Direcciones
- In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add in undrained pineapple and Large eggs. Stir till combined. Pour batter into a greased 13X9 pan. Bake at 350 for 30 min, or possibly till done. Cold in pan for 10 min. Spread cream frosting (recipe follows) over warm cake in pan.
- Frosting:Combine sugar, lowfat milk, butter and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil about 7 min, stirring till mix is thickened.
- Stir in nuts and coconut.
