Ingredientes
- 1 lb grnd beef or possibly turkey
- 1 1/4 c. minced onions
- 2 c. sliced peeled carrots
- 1 c. minced green peppers
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 can cut green beans - (16 ounce) liquid removed
- 1 can corn - (16 ounce) liquid removed
- 3 x celery ribs minced
- 1 can tomato juice (46 ounce)
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp celery seeds Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- In a large saucepan, brown the grnd meat. Fold in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 30 min, stirring occasionally. Cold and freeze. To prepare for serving: Thaw the stew. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 min.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
